The Class:

The Art of Visual Storytelling is designed to illustrate the importance of the camera operator as a part of the filmmaking team and how they work within that team. By showing and breaking down shots from The West Wing, St Vincent, Shame, Donnie Darko, Ozark, Snowfall and beyond, the discussion will center around the operators influence over shot creation, interaction with different departments from Director to background, successes, failures, and much more. While the specifics revolve around the job of the operator, the overall discussion is really about what makes a successful storyteller.
